HONOURS UPDATED
The main honours table has been updated to show more of the records going back to 1977-78
season. Many thanks to Billy Lybert for providing the fixture books and records from those
years.
There are still a number of records missing so if anybody else has any information covering
the missing entries I'd be grateful if they could let me have the information.

SUMMARY OF A.G.M.
Summary of Sunday’s AGM
1. A financial statement for season 2018-2019 was given out.
2. Tony Field has decided to stand down as League Chairman. Richie Brown was endorsed as
the new Chairman.
3. Several rules were discussed
- Rule 16 was amended so that new players no longer need to register 7 days before playing.
New players can be registered up to 8pm on the night of a match so long as it is done by
text to league secretary before 8pm.
- Rule 20 was amended - details of correct throwing line for each venue will now be shown
on the league website - not fixture books
- Rule 23 was amended to read “Teams failing to meet fixtures will be fined £10 to be paid
to their opponents. They will also be deducted one point and lose their right to play the
return fixture at home”
- Rule 47 was discussed about the start times of finals. The rule remains unchanged but the
finals of the Captains, Secretaries and Treasurers will now be played in on a single (extra)
night. This will reduce the length of time spent playing other finals such as 3, 5 and
7-a-sides.
4. The new season will start on Thursday October 3rd.
5. Team registration sheets need to be returned at the next league meeting on September 15th.
6. All Competition forms should be returned no later than Sunday November 3rd.
Subject to confirmation it looks like we will have 12 teams this season.
